A disastrous game for Liverpool as a rampant Chelsea put four goals past Dudek to inflict Liverpool?s heaviest Premiership defeat for some time.
From a cross by Hasselbaink, Graeme Le Saux has his first time shot pushed on to the post by Dudek, but the England star couldn't miss with the rebound. 1-0 Chelsea.
The goal, scored brilliantly by Hasselbaink, is controversial. Seconds before the goal Liverpool are denied a blatant corner but Chelsea promptly score from the goal-kick, when the striker charges through to fire a drive beyond Dudek.
With Liverpool pushing forward, Chelsea catch them on the break and Hasselbaink's shot rebounds out of Dudek's hands to Dalla Bona on the line and he scores from a yard out.
Deep into injury time Chelsea carve Liverpool's defence open again and Icelandic international Eidur Gudjohnsen finishes superbly from close range.
