After Mohamed Salah sealed a move to Chelsea Liverpool may now move on to Stuttgart attacking midfielder Alexandru Maxim.

Maxim has now moved up in the club's list of priorities. They say a concrete offer from the Reds could be made in the coming days.
Did you know?
Maxim's career started out in his native Romania, but in 2007 he made a major move to Barcelona, where he joined Espanyol's youth academy.
After two years in the Espanyol youth system, Maxim was promoted to the B team, who at the time played in Spain's third division. With the team relegated at the end of his first season as a senior, Espanyol attempted to keep him at the club by loaning him out to CF Badalona, who played for promotion to the second division that year. In the end it wasn't enough however, and the Romanian returned to his home country in 2011 to join the first team of CS Pandurii Targu Jiu.
The midfielder quickly made a name for himself at his new team, earning his first international appearance within a year of returning home. He would ultimately make 48 appearances for Pandurii Targu Jiu over two seasons, scoring nine goals, before VfB Stuttgart signed him for €1.5m in the January transfer window of the 2012-13 campaign.
Maxim's first six months at Stuttgart were steady if unspectacular, but this season he has started to carve out a reputation in the Bundesliga, with four goals and eight assists in all competitions for his club. With Stuttgart currently in the bottom half of the league table however, an offer from Liverpool could be tempting for the attacking midfielder.
The Stuttgart man has played 11 games for his national side since 2012, scoring two goals, including Romania's first goal in a notable 2-1 victory over Belgium in late 2012.
