Liverpool are the latest side to express an interest in Jesus Navas.

The Sevilla winger is expected to end his spell at the club this summer, having spent his entire senior career there.

He has scored 23 goals in 273 league appearances but Sevilla are ready to sell him to boost their finances.

News of their intention to do so first alerted Manchester City and the deposed Premier League champions appear favourites to land him.

However, sources in Spain claim that Liverpool are now in the running for the 27-year-old Spain international.

Brendan Rodgers is determined to get his summer business done early and has already sealed a deal for Kolo Toure, who will join on July 1.
