Fenerbahce forward Moussa Sow has admitted that he would be interested in joining Liverpool just days after he was linked with a possible move to the Premier League club.
Turkish newspaper Fanatik reported that Sow was a target for Liverpool and French champions Paris Saint-Germain, with both clubs said to be willing to offer in the region of €15m for the prolific striker.
Sow was heavily linked with Liverpool when he made it clear that he wanted to leave Lille but no offer was made and he eventually joined Fenerbahce in January 2012 for €10m on a four-and-a-half year contract.
The 27-year-old had fired Lille to the Ligue 1 title by scoring 25 league goals and has continued to impress in Turkey.
He scored seven times in 12 games after his January arrival and followed that with 19 goals in all competitions this season as he helped Fernanerbahce win the Turkish Cup and reach the semi-finals of the Europa League.
Having been linked with a move to back to France to join PSG, it seems Sow would be more interested in joining Brendan Rodgers at Liverpool.
"I want to play in England one day," Sow said. "Liverpool, well, that is a dream club. Anyone would be happy, scoring goals in front of the Kop can be the highlight of a career."
Liverpool have already announced their first signing of the summer when they agreed a deal to take Kolo Toure from Manchester City on a free transfer at the start of July.
It is expected that there will be plenty more arrivals at Anfield throughout the course of the summer as Rodgers has made it clear he wants to bring in more quality in order to build a squad capable of challenging for a place in the top four.
There have been several defenders linked with the club after the retirement of Jamie Carragher, but it is unclear whether Liverpool would be after another striker.
Sow has certainly proved his worth in France and Turkey, while he has also kept Newcastle striker Papiss Cisse out of the Senegal side in recent games as they look to qualify for the World Cup in 2014.
Liverpool do have three strikers on their books in Luis Suarez, Fabio Borini and Daniel Sturridge but they will be without their Uruguayan talisman for the first six games of the season after he received a ten match ban for biting Chelsea's Branislav Ivanovic.
