According to AS in Spain, Malaga want to take Liverpool forward Ryan Babel on a six month loan deal.
The paper believes the Spanish club have already made contact with Babel's representatives and they have promised the Dutch international first team football for the entirety of his loan spell.
Babel has struggled to get a regular first team place since arriving from Ajax for £11.5million back in 2007 and has been playing in the reserves in recent weeks as appearances for the first team under Roy Hodgson have dried up.
AS also states that Malaga will attempt to open formal talks over a possible move after Liverpool's ownership issue has been sorted out.
