According to Le Progres, Liverpool have been linked with a move for Lyon's Argentinean striker Lisandro Lopez.
The 27-year-old was bought for €24million last summer as a replacement for Karim Benzema who departed for Real Madrid.
He scored 24 goals in all competitions last term and was named Ligue One's Player of the Year, but Le Progres believe the French club are going to put the player up for sale.
Lyon are apparently going to invite offers for €15million ahead of the January transfer window.
It is rumoured that Lopez's name has been touted around Europe already, and with Liverpool looking out for a new striker, the Merseyside club has inevitably been linked with the player.
