Martin Montoya is happy at Barcelona but feels under no pressure to rush into signing a new deal.
The highly-rated 22-year-old right-back is out of contract in the summer and has yet to agree an extension, fuelling speculation that he could be on the move after reportedly attracting attention from a host of clubs.
Liverpool are among those to have been linked with a swoop for Montoya, but he is staying relaxed over his future.
He is enjoying life at Camp Nou and feels he can benefit from training alongside Dani Alves.
"There is no hurry for me to sign a new deal," he told reporters after the 4-0 win over Elche on Sunday.
"Now I am at the best club in the world and I learn each day from Dani Alves.
"I believe that the negotiations are on the way but without pressure."
Montoya is expected to have talks with his agent this week to discuss his future, with Barca's sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta believed to be keen on sorting out a deal as quickly as possible.
