Lazio midfielder Ogenyi Onazi admits he would "jump at the chance" of a move to Liverpool.

The Nigeria international, 21, has been attracting the interest of some of Europe's biggest clubs after excelling in Rome.

Liverpool are long-time admirers of the defensive midfielder and made moves for him in January, but personal terms could not be agreed.

Brendan Rodgers plans to bring in SIX top names this summer, with Europe's stars seduced by Liverpool's style as much as the prospect of Champions League football.

Onazi said: "Liverpool? They are a huge team and are attractive to any footballer.

"I could see myself playing for them. I would jump at the chance."
