Rennes full-back Rod Fanni is interesting Liverpool.

Reds boss Rafa Benitez had scouts check on Fanni in action last week against Lille.

The 28-year-old right-back played in Rennes' 2-1 defeat at the weekend and has previously attracted interest from Sunderland.
