Liverpool are being linked with a shock January move for Tottenham midfielder Sandro, according to reports.
UK paper The Metro claims that Kenny Dalglish has highlighted the 22 year old as a replacement for Lucas Leiva, who is set to miss the rest of the season after picking up an anterior cruciate ligament injury in the Carling Cup win over Chelsea.
The Brazilian has fallen down the pecking order at Spurs following the arrival of Scott Parker in the summer transfer window, and according to his agent Luiz Paulo Chignall a move cannot be ruled out at the present time.
"In football you can never rule anything out, though, with it possible that negotiations will see all parties reach an agreement. Many clubs have contacted me for information on his situation, but there has been no official proposal," he's reported as saying in the paper.
Sandro impressed in the Barclays Premier League last season and has also been linked with a move to Manchester United.
