Liverpool and Arsenal battle over Clichy

Liverpool are determined to land Arsenal full back Gael Clichy, even though the London club are trying to block any deal.

And the French full back will dig his heels in and insist he wants to go to Anfield, even though Roma are also in the chase for his signature.

The Italians have offered around £7million - £2million more than Liverpool - but Clichy will hold out in the hope that his club relents and allow the sale to their Premier League rivals to go through.
