Cristian Tello could be set to spark a transfer scramble between Liverpool, Tottenham and Arsenal after telling Barcelona he won't stay at the club if Gerardo Martino remains in charge.
Tello has been unhappy with his playing time under Martino this season, and things got worse when the player took offence to being introduced as a late substitute against Getafe.
Barcelona are thought to be annoyed that Tello responded angrily after being told he would come on as a 91st minute substitute simply to waste time with the Catalan club drawing.
Liverpool were heavily linked with a move for Tello in January, with Barcelona blocking a late move, while Arsenal and Tottenham are also believed to be long-term admirers of the 22-year-old forward.
Tello has long stressed that he wants to play more first-team football, but has made just six starts for Barca this season. And in the aftermath of the bust-up Tello has reportedly told Barcelona that he is almost certain to leave unless there are big changes in the summer.
Indeed, Tello has suggested he will only stay at the club if Martino is replaced and he gets assurances from the incoming manager that he will be part of the plans.
However, Barcelona are thought to be ready to cut ties with the youngster irrespective of who is in charge following the latest outburst.
Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham could face competition from Napoli, Valencia and Porto for the player's signature at the end of the season.
