Liverpool target Christian Atsu has turned down a new contract at Porto in order to secure a dream move to England
Brendan Rodgers is looking to boost Liverpool's attack that will be without suspended talisman Luis Suarez for the beginning of next season.
The Ghanian international, a long-term target of Rodgers, rejected a four-year contact extension in the hope of securing a move to England.
And Rodgers now looks set to test Porto's resolve to keep the 21-year-old winger with a £7 million bid.
Atsu talking to Aola spoke of his desire to play in the Premier League.
He said: "My dream is to play in England and it is very nice to see my name linked with big clubs in the Premier League. For now, I'm focused on my football, but I see my future in England.
"I hope to have some news soon."
