Express: Reds revive duo interest

Brendan Rodgers is looking to land Ukraine star Yevhen Konoplyanka at the second time of asking this summer.

Rodgers almost clinched a £15million deal to bring Konoplyanka to Anfield from Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk in January.

The move fell through at the last minute, but is expected to be revisited by the Reds after the current campaign comes to an end.

Reports in Russia also claim that Liverpool want to sign Henrikh Mkhitaryan from Borussia Dortmund.

Rodgers missed out on the Armenian's signature last summer when he left Shakhtar Donetsk in a £23.6m move to Dortmund.
