Today we're looking at which right winger you want to select in your Team of the Decade.
We've outlined the contenders below - so have a read and then cast your vote.
We'll reveal the results later in December before unveiling the entire team on December 31.
Vladimir Smicer
Signed in 1999 to replace Steve McManaman, Smicer never totally got to grips with English football - yet his name will always be synonymous with the greatest night in our history. Coming on as a substitute for Harry Kewell, the Czech star scored the Reds' second goal in Istanbul as we clinched our fifth European Cup. Later in the evening he scored the crucial penalty before Jerzy Dudek's shootout save to deny Andriy Shevchenko. Other highlights include a dramatic last-minute winner against Chelsea in 2002.
Nicky Barmby
Barmby became the first player since legendary striker Dave Hickson in 1959 to move directly from Everton to Liverpool. He quickly won over the Anfield faithful and celebrated his first season in a red shirt with a number of vital strikes. The most memorable being his first league goal for the club that opened the scoring against Everton in a 3-1 Merseyside derby win. Barmby missed the climax of the treble season through injury although he was on the bench for the UEFA Cup final win over Alaves. The 2001-02 season was almost completely ruined by injury and the England international was then transferred to Leeds United.
El Hadji Diouf
The controversial Diouf was signed by Gerard Houllier for a fee of about £10million following the 2002 World Cup. Thought to be a striker, he was played on the right-wing for most of his Anfield stay. Six goals in his debut season augured well, as did an impressive display in the 2003 Worthington Cup triumph. The Senegalese star struggled to kick on from there, however, and was immediately offloaded by new boss Rafa Benitez in 2004.
Luis Garcia
He didn't drink sangria, but Luis Garcia came from Barca and most definitely brought us plenty of joy in his short but successful career at Liverpool. Without doubt he proved himself as the little man for the big occasion. His volley against Juventus in the 2005 Champions League quarter-final is one of the most iconic strikes in modern Anfield history, while his disputed effort against Chelsea in the semis broke Jose's heart and took us to our first European Cup final for 20 years. Garcia will also be remembered for goals against Everton and another versus Chelsea in the 2006 FA Cup semi-final.
Steven Gerrard
It's a testament to Gerrard's talent and versatility that he is fighting for your votes in three different positions in our Team of the Decade poll. Despite spending his early years in the centre of Liverpool's midfield, the skipper was asked to operate on the right for most of 2005-06. The season saw him bag 23 goals, win PFA Player of the Year and sink West Ham in what will forever be known as The Gerrard Final. Enough said.
Jermaine Pennant
Liverpool secured the right-sider's signature in July 2006. After an initial settling-in period, Pennant began to make his mark, scoring his first goal in January 2007 in a league victory over Chelsea. The boyhood Reds fan was then one of the stand-out performers during the Champions League final defeat to AC Milan in Athens. However, by 2008-09 Pennant found himself out of Benitez's plans as Albert Riera, Yossi Benayoun and Dirk Kuyt hogged the wide positions.
Dirk Kuyt
The Dutchman's Anfield career has gone from strength to strength since his conversion to a right winger in 2007. Twenty five goals in two seasons is more than adequate for any wideman, especially when they more often than not come in crucial Champions League games against the likes of Chelsea, Standard Liege and Inter. Add to that his unparalleled work rate and it's easy to understand why Kuyt is among the very first names on every teamsheet Rafa Benitez writes.
Yossi Benayoun
Regarded by many as a squad player until a year ago, the Israel captain is now as crucial as almost anyone in the current Liverpool team. Why? Well just ask Fulham, Blackburn, Wigan, Newcastle, Arsenal and Sunderland - all of who fell victim to his mercurial talent as Liverpool mounted there best title assault since 1990. Then there was his momentous header in the Bernabeu as Real Madrid were dispatched 1-0.
