Over the next few weeks we'll be celebrating the Noughties by asking YOU to select your LFC Team of the Decade.
Today we want you to decide who has been our outstanding goalkeeper of the last 10 years.
So, read about their highs, lows and most memorable moments - then cast your vote. We'll reveal the results later in the month before unveiling the entire team on December 31.
Sander Westerveld
The Dutchman became the most expensive goalkeeper in British football when he joined for a reported fee of £4million during the summer of 1999. He emerged the hero of Liverpool's Worthington Cup final victory over Birmingham City, making the match-winning save from Andy Johnson in the penalty shoot-out. He also played an integral part in the FA and UEFA Cup victories over Arsenal and Alaves before being unceremoniously cast aside with the arrival of Jerzy Dudek and Chris Kirkland.
Jerzy Dudek
A high-profile howler in a home defeat to United blotted Dudek's early copy-book - but he went on to write his name into Anfield folklore during a six-year stay. He was man-of-the-match in a Worthington Cup final victory over the Mancs in 2003 but it's his heroics in the Ataturk Stadium for which he'll forever be remembered by Kopites. A phenomenal double save from Andriy Shevchenko helped take the game to penalties, where his instinct and goalline dancing helped clinch our fifth European Cup.
Chris Kirkland
Kirkland was part of the team that produced one of our finest Euro comebacks - the 3-1 victory over Olympiacos at Anfield in December 2004. However, despite his undoubted talent, the likeable stopper's time in L4 will ultimately be filed under 'what might have been' due to a series of serious injuries.
Pepe Reina
Reina ousted Jerzy Dudek as first-choice stopper just two months after Istanbul - but the Spaniard soon vindicated Rafa Benitez by smashing a collection of Anfield records. His reputation as penalty-saving king was cemented in both the 2006 FA Cup triumph and 2007 Champions League semi-final. His talents extend much further than spot-kick heroics, however, and Reina is now established as one of the world's very best goalkeepers.
