Continuing our look back at the last decade at Anfield, Liverpoolfc.tv can now reveal the man who you voted as our most outstanding left-back of the last 10 years.
With seven players on our shortlist, fans had much to ponder before casting their votes.
However, John Arne Riise was the clear winner - collecting an incredible 80 per cent of the total.
The flame-haired full-back staved off competition from Fabio Aurelio, who was second with eight per cent, and Jamie Carragher (seven per cent).
Christian Ziege and Emiliano Insua both totalled two per cent, while Stephen Warnock and Djimi Traore collected one per cent each.
Riise was snapped-up by Gerard Houllier in the summer of 2001 from Monaco - and the Norwegian wasted no time in making an instant impact at Anfield.
In just his third appearance for the Reds, the defender bagged the opening goal in Liverpool's 3-2 UEFA Super Cup final triumph over Bayern Munich on his former stomping ground in the French principality.
He followed that up with a stunning solo strike at Goodison Park in a 3-1 triumph against Everton, further endearing him to the Kop and spawning the recreation of a cheesy Euro-pop ditty on the terraces as fans asked how he scored that goal.
However, arguably his most iconic moment in a red jersey arrived in November of the same year as he continued his whirlwind start to his career on Merseyside.
Running onto Dietmar Hamann's layoff, Riise smashed a free-kick of unrivalled ferocity beyond Fabien Barthez before the ball cannoned off the underside of the bar and into the back of the net to help Liverpool to a 3-1 success over Manchester United in L4.
Riise played his part in the Reds' League Cup final win against the Old Trafford club in 2003, and remained a first-team regular following the arrival of Rafa Benitez as manager a year later.
The Norway star was also more than capable of filling a left-midfield role, and it was from this position he provided the cross for Steven Gerrard's goal in the 2005 Champions League final in Istanbul as Liverpool defeated AC Milan to claim the European Cup for a fifth time.
He continued to excel in 2005-06, where he aided the Reds' FA Cup success - scoring a crucial goal in the semi-final with Chelsea before netting a spot-kick in the penalty shootout victory over West Ham United in the final.
Just shy of a year later, Riise netted the winner in Liverpool's momentous Champions League win against Barcelona at the Nou Camp.
The Scandinavian racked up a further 44 appearances during his final season at Anfield in 2007-08 before he was sold to AS Roma in the summer of 2008.
Overall, Riise turned out 348 times for Liverpool, scoring 31 goals, during his seven-season stint with the Reds.
