Liverpool target Juan Manuel Mata will 'listen to all offers' after the European U21 Championships in Denmark, according to his dad.
The London Metro is reporting that the highly rated Spanish international winger has attracted plenty of interest after an impressive summer tournament.
Reds boss Kenny Dalglish is one potential suitor thought to be considering an offer, in an attempt to bring the 23-year-old starlet to Anfield in time for the start of next season.
Mata's father, Juan Snr, who acts as his son's agent confirmed: "Until after the Euro, we won't listen to anybody. After that, we're willing to listen to all offers we receive.
"From next Monday on, we'll analyze what is the best option for the future."
Liverpool director of football Damien Comolli identified Mata as a potential recruit some time ago, but the Reds were knocked back by the player's existing club Valencia - telling them they would not sell at any price.
However, following recent comments from Mata's father, it appears an auction may be about to begin for the £20million rated youngster's services.
With the Reds known to be in the market for wide midfield additions, it is likely that Dalglish and Co. will be in the race for his signature, but have also been linked with a move for want-away Aston Villa winger Stewart Downing who is poised to complete an Anfield move at the weekend.
