Liverpool look like they're keen to get their transfer business done early and with strong suggestions they are about to sign Barcelona B forward, Luis Alberto, talkSPORT's Transfer Spotlight runs the rule of the young, versatile Spaniard.

What's the latest?
Barcelona brought Alberto in on loan last summer from Sevilla to play with their B team, but despite performing admirably with their reserves in the Spanish second division, the Catalans have reportedly decided not to execute the option to buy him for €5m (£4.2m). Spanish football journalist and Liverpool supporter, Guillem Balague, has now claimed the Reds have moved in for Alberto and a deal could be days from completion.
