As European giants Borussia Dortmund, Atletico Madrid and Zenit St Petersburg step up their chase Liverpool target Mohamed Salah, Brendan Rodgers has reportedly increased his interest in Dinamo Kiev star Andriy Yarmolenko.

The 24-year-old, who has impressed on the international stage with Ukraine, is valued at around £15million, so would be more costly than FC Basel star Salah.

But the Reds were linked with a move for Yarmolenko in the summer and manager Rodgers is obviously keen on the winger.
