Liverpool may have let the January window pass them by but Kenny Dalglish already has plans in place for the summer, according to reports in Italy.
Gazzetta dello Sport claim Dalglish has been in contact with Udinese over a deal to bring Mauricio Isla to Anfield.
The 23-year-old Chile international can play in almost any position across midfield or defence and that versatility has appealed to the Liverpool manager.
Roma are also interested in the utility man's services, especially after losing David Pizarro to Manchester City, and it would appear whichever club is willing to match Udinese's £8m valuation will seal the deal.
