Arsenal and Liverpool have been put on red alert after reports in Belgium claim that Anderlecht have agreed to sell Argentine star Lucas Biglia.

Biglia has been strongly linked with a move to England after earning rave reviews in the Belgian League.

Arsene Wenger is keen to bolster his midfield following the sales of Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri last summer, while Kenny Dalglish looks certain to move in the transfer market.

The two English clubs will have to act quickly as there is also interest from Fiorentina and Roma to clinch the signing of the talented midfielder.

Reports in Belgian daily newspaper La Derniere Heure claim that Anderlecht have decided to sell Biglia at the end of the season and will consider offers in the region of £15m.
