Ajax forward Luis Suarez has pleaded with his manager Frank de Boer to give him to nod to make a move to Liverpool.

The Reds have been heavily linked with a move for the forward and have been reported to have had more than one bid rejected by the Dutch outfit.

Goal.com UK recently revealed exclusively that the Merseysiders will make one final push to land the Uruguay international, with a summer switch looking more likely than a January move.

Liverpool and Ajax have had difficulty in seeing eye-to-eye concerning a transfer fee for Suarez.
