Liverpool misfit Joe Cole is reportedly set for a return to London, with Spurs interested in signing the England midfielder.
A £3million deal is set to see former Chelsea and West Ham star Cole head back to the capital after just one unhappy season at Anfield.
Cole scored three times in 32 appearances for the Reds in all competitions, but made a mere nine Premier League starts as the Merseysiders picked up during the second half of the campaign under new manager Kenny Dalglish.
Meanwhile, Denmark midfielder Christian Poulsen is aiming to improve on a poor first campaign with the Reds following his arrival from Juventus.
The 31-year-old also made nine league starts in the season just ended, but is content to stay put and build himself a future at Anfield.
He told the club's official website: "I am looking forward to seeing how Liverpool play next season because I think a lot of things have gone on this year.
"Of course, I would also like to play a little bit more and that is my hope for the future."
