Roy Hodgson has confirmed that Daniel Sturridge is fit to face Germany tomorrow night at Wembley and named his starting team.
This is the side: Joe Hart in goal; Kyle Walker, Chris Smalling, Phil Jagielka and Ashley Cole in defence; Steven Gerrard, Tom Cleverley, Adam Lallana and Andros Townsend in midfield with Wayne Rooney sat just behind Sturridge up front.
Hodgson also said he withdrew Sturridge - who had been struggling with a thigh problem - from training this morning because he intends to give Rickie Lambert more game time against Germany at some point.
The England manager revealed his side after allowing Sky Sports News cameras to film training for an extended period, allowing it to become clear for the training teams selected who would play.
"I don't want to be portrayed as cunning," joked Hodgson.
