Roy Hodgson will be handed an initial £12 million transfer kitty when he takes charge of Liverpool.

The Mirror says Hodgson has spoken to the Fulham board and conceded that he would find the offer too difficult to turn down.

Liverpool will offer him a minimum of £12 million to spend on players, plus all money raised from player sales.

Liverpool are determined not to let nay players leave until a new manager is in place.
