Reds interest in Ramirez

Juventus will run the rule over Liverpool target Gaston Ramirez when they meet Bologna in the Coppa Italia.

It has been reported that Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish is an admirer of the talented forward, who has played alongside Reds ace Luis Suarez for Uruguay

But should Dalglish wish to combine the two in his Anfield forward line, the Liverpool manager could be set for a January battle with Juventus.

The Serie A leaders are also keeping a close eye on Ramirez, who has scored three goals in 11 appearances in Serie A so far this season.

The 21-year-old recently extended his Bologna deal until 2016 but sources in Italy have claimed that Ramirez wants to test his ability for one of Europe's top clubs.

And he will have the perfect chance to show Juve exactly what he can do when he lines up against them at the Juventus Stadium in the Coppa Italia on Thursday.
