Manuel Pellegrini's lawyer has confirmed that the Chilean manager has been approached by a Premier League side but has refused to reveal which club.

He said: "I cannot confirm or deny anything. All I can say is that there is an offer from England."

The 56-year-old former Real Madrid manager is also rumoured to have told friends over the weekend that he was heading for the Premier League but he also refused to say which club he was going to.

With Liverpool the only vacant managerial role in the Premier League at the moment, it is clear which job Pellegrini is after, but is he the front runner for the job?
