Scott Parker has dropped the biggest hint yet that he’ll be leaving West Ham with Arsenal, Liverpool, and Tottenham leading the chase for his signature.
The Hammers midfielder, who picked up the Football Writers' Player of the Year award last night, has acknowledged that his future may lie away from Upton Park if the East Londoners are relegated.
"At the moment we can stay up,' said the West Ham ace, when asked about his future at the club.
"Obviously we are relying on a lot of other points and in two weeks time everything will all be a lot clearer.
"As I have said before though, effectively when a team gets relegated - which is a possibility for us - things get changed. Not just the playing staff, everything changes at a football club."
Spurs boss Harry Redknapp has made no secret about his desire to sign the England midfielder, but new Reds boss Kenny Dalglish and Gunners manager Arsene Wenger are now also prepared to join the hunt.
Arsenal would be the only club able to offer Parker Champions League football next season, and at 30-years-old, the former Charlton man may not get too many more chances to play in the competition at his peak.
Wenger is also desperate to add grit, determination, and experience to his young Gunners side, and would favour a signing available at a reasonable price who is also an accomplished ball player.
A resurgent Liverpool could also offer an attractive option to Parker, but moving away from his London base may prove a sticking point.
