Ngog and Aquilani set for exits

Kenny Dalglish is ready to trim his Liverpool squad by selling David Ngog and midfield misfit Alberto Aquilani.

Bolton believe they can prise N'gog away for £4million while Fiorentina now want Aquilani on a year's loan.

The Reds initially wanted to ship the French forward off to Sunderland as part of their deal for Jordan Henderson, but Owen Coyle is now ready to pounce after that deal collapsed.

The Trotters boss wants to inject fresh pace into his attack for the new season after losing Daniel Sturridge back to Chelsea, and N'gog would fit the bill.

Liverpool have been touting the forward to other clubs for around £6m, but may lower their price for a quick deal.

Aquilani seems set to follow the striker out of the Anfield exit door as he nears another loan back to Italy.

The former Roma man wasn't wanted by Juventus after spending a year in Turin, and now the Reds are hoping the Viola will take the unhappy midfielder off their hands if they agree to another loan.
