Napoli ponder January move for Eccleston

Napoli are eyeing a move for Liverpool youngster Nathan Eccleston when the transfer window reopens in January.

According to a report on talkSPORT, the Serie A side have made contact with the Reds through Eccleston's agent and are eager to sign the 19-year-old striker.

However, it appears that Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson will have the final say in whether Eccleston moves to Naples or not and it could depend on whether he signs another striker.

Eccleston has made five appearances for Liverpool so far this season and came on in the 64th minute against Napoli in a Europa League game earlier this season.
