Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham have been linked with a move for former Chelsea striker Salomon Kalou.
All three Premier League clubs need attacking reinforcements - and preferably a player with a knowledge of the English game who can hit the ground running.
The Daily Mirror also reports that Kalou interests Roma and Besiktas but he would prefer a return to England after moving across the Channel to join Ligue 1 Lille 18 months ago as a free agent.
The 28-year-old Ivory Coast international is in decent form, having scored three times in his last two matches.
Despite falling foul of the Chelsea boo-boys on numerous occasions, he weighed in with 60 goals in his six years at Stamford Bridge.Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger could swoop for Kalou as back-up to striker Olivier Giroud, especially with Nicklas Bendtner sidelined through injury, while Spurs need a replacement for Jermain Defoe, who is heading to MLS club Toronto.
Liverpool hope to have Daniel Sturridge back from his stint in the treatment room in the near future but need cover in case of further knocks to the England international or star man Luis Suarez.
