Liverpool have ramped up their interest in Mohamed Salah after a host of other European clubs joined the race for the Basle winger.
Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is a huge admirer of highly-rated Salah, who has been dubbed 'the Egyptian Messi' because of his superstar performances.
Liverpool have been following his progress closely, and despite initially putting off a move until the summer, they've since been prompted to move now with a number of other clubs keen.
AC Milan, Napoli, Valencia, Atletico Madrid and Monaco are just few of the outfits believed to have approached Basle to discuss a move for Salah, and Rodgers is determined not to miss out.
According to reports, Liverpool are working on a £9million offer for the 21-year-old, which will be officially submitted in the coming days.
Salah is said to favour a switch to Liverpool over other possible options, with a former teammate suggesting last month that he is dreams of playing at Anfield.
