Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is considering an audacious January transfer-window move for Swansea hotshot Michu.
Rodgers is keen to address his team's over-reliance on the goals of Luis Suarez, and the Spanish striker is an increasingly attractive option.
Michu, 26, has been in sensational form for the Swans and has already bagged 13 goals in all competitions this season - including two in the 4-3 defeat to Norwich on Saturday.
Wantaway Chelsea man Daniel Sturridge is also on Rodgers' radar, however, the 23-year-old's £80,000-a-week wages and his preference for a central striking role could put off Rodgers, who envisages a wide role for the England international.
Swansea manager Michael Laudrup says he values Michu, who cost the Welsh side just £2m from Rayo Vallecano in the summer, at a whopping £30million.
The Reds, though, would initially be prepared to test the water with a bid of £10m.
