Liverpool are interested in a loan deal for Chelsea winger Thorgan Hazard.

Club scouts watched as the 21-year-old scored for Zulte Waregem, where he is on loan, against Lokeren last weekend.

Hazard, younger brother of Eden, has been voted Player of the Year in Belgium but Jose Mourinho is reluctant to put him into his first-team squad next season.

The Chelsea coach watched Hazard play for Waregem in a 2-1 defeat to Anderlecht on Thursday and is ready to use him on Chelsea's pre-season tour, but is inclined to loan him out again once August comes.

Schalke and Everton are also interested.
