French giants Lyon have revealed they will offer goalkeeper Hugo Lloris a new deal in an attempt to ward off interest from the Premier League's top clubs.
Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United have all reportedly been keeping tabs on the 6ft 2' stopper, however Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas says negotiations are planned with the 24-year-old in the hope of extending his stay at Stade der Gerland.
Aulas told French radio station RMC: "I met with Hugo to inform him that the club were prepared to renew his contract.
"He deserves to get a better contract and in the coming days we will sit down to deal with it directly," he added.
Lloris' current deal expires in 2013 and he is vice-captain for both club and country.
