Juventus midfielder Felipe Melo, a reported target for Liverpool and Arsenal, is to join Galatasaray on loan.
Melo, 28, has been regularly been linked with a move away from the club since joining from Fiorentina in 2009. The Brazil international said this week that he had "received an offer from Europe that will vastly improve my salary".
Galatasaray confirmed on Thursday on their official website that discussions had begun over the player, and after positive talks it was agreed that Melo would head to Turkey on loan.
The loan fee is reported to be €2 million with the option to make the deal permanent for €3 million.
