Liverpool set to sign Albacete's Nacho - report

Liverpool are close to signing Albacete youngster Nacho, according to a report from La Tribuna de Albacete.

The Spanish striker was recently on trial with Liverpool's Under-18 squad, having earned rave reviews for his performances.

Albacete and Liverpool are understood to have been in talks for several weeks now, with an agreement between the two clubs reportedly reached on Monday.

Reports in Spain suggest that Liverpool will splash out €170,000 for Nacho, with a further €113,000 going Albacete's way when the youngster makes his senior debut for the club an additional €339,000 when he makes 10 senior appearances.

It is also believed that Albacete will be entitled to 15 per cent of a future transfer fee for Nacho, who was also being closely followed by Villarreal.
