"Liverpool have shown serious interest in him and Damien Comolli will come to watch him at a game in the next two or three weeks," an insider told Goal.com.
"It is looking very possible that he will sign for Liverpool - he is an exciting young player who needs developing but is capable of special things."
Now, the player himself has had his say on the matter - revealing that the chance to join Liverpool would prove very difficult to turn down.
He told Goal.com: "If a proposal arrived from Liverpool of course I would think of it,
"Moving to Spain or England is very tempting."
