Paris Saint-Germain are keeping tabs on the fortunes of Rubin Kazan midfielder Yann M'Vila, who is a target for English side Liverpool and Italian outfit Napoli.
M'Vila was widely expected to leave French club Rennes for England at the start of 2013, but surprisingly ended up transferring to Russia to join Rubin Kazan.
The classy defensive midfielder has consistently been linked with a return to western Europe however and in the current transfer window has attracted his fair share of attention.
And PSG are his latest suitors.
According to Canal +, the French champions have joined Liverpool and Napoli in holding an interest in M'Vila, with PSG coach Laurent Blanc viewing the former Rennes man as a perfect replacement for Blaise Matuidi, if he leaves Paris.
Matuidi's contract at PSG expires this summer and, despite negotiations, he has yet to pen an extension.
Blanc is hopeful the midfielder will do just that, although the possibility of an exit this month persists, particularly if Matuidi will not play contract renewal ball.
