The Denmark boss says the Ajax youngster is set for a move to a European giant amid speculation linking him with a switch to Liverpool or Borussia Dortmund this summer
Ajax attacker Christian Eriksen is ready for a move to a bigger club, according to Denmark coach Morten Olsen.
Speculation has intensified in recent weeks over where the 21-year-old will be plying his trade next season, with some believing he is being lined up by Borussia Dortmund and Liverpool.
Olsen, who coaches the starlet at international level, says Eriksen has come of age and is well-equipped to handle a move to one of Europe's finest clubs.
"This is the right time for him to go," Olsen told Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet. "There are many players who moved to a top club too early, but Christian is really ready.
"He played great against Borussia Dortmund, Manchester City, PSV and Feyenoord this season, so maybe that's where Dortmund's interest stems from."
Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is rumoured to be an admirer of Eriksen - whose Ajax deal expires next summer - but the Dutch champions denied reports last month that a deal had been struck with the Reds to bring the youngster to Anfield.
