Liverpool have been made heavy favourites to land Southampton and England star Adam Lallana ahead of Manchester United by the bookies, following strong speculation he will make a big move this summer.
PaddyPower have Brendan Rodgers' high-flying Reds at 2/1 to be Lallana's next permanent club, whilst United find themselves placed at 5/2.
The odds have massively changed over the last few months, most probably as a direct result of Liverpool's powerful surge towards the Premier League title.
Both clubs have held a long-running interest in the 25-year-old winger for a while now, but it was initially United who were considered to be the favourites to secure his signature.
Valued at around £15million Lallana would be a great addition to either side, but it would seem that the bookmakers believe it's Anfield where he could well be plying his trade as of next term.
Having recently made his England debut, as well as enjoying a scintillating campaign with the Saints, Lallana is definitely hot property at the moment.
Though his current club will be desperate to keep hold of him one would assume that his personal ambitions will be the primary fuel for a move to a team higher up the Premier League table.
