Liverpool have joined Manchester City and Real Madrid in the race to sign Sevilla's Jesus Navas.
City originally were planning a double swoop for Navas and his team-mate Geoffrey Kondogbia although there hasn't been much movement with the latter recently.
Navas according to reports on the continent is believed to be torn between a move to the Premier League and staying in La Liga.
But with Sevilla need to balance their books, it seems that they may have little option in cashing in on Navas.
A report in Marca has it that Sevilla will only accept offers in the £17m region for the talented midfielder.
They also allude to the idea that Navas is ripe for a fresh challenge which could accelerate his departure.
Navas fired blanks the whole of the last campaign.
