Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United have been boosted in their hopes of landing New Zealand international defender Winston Reid with West Ham refusing to improve their current contract offer.
Reid's current deal expires at the end of the season and a host of Premier League clubs are believed to be monitoring the situation.
Reports last week suggested that Reid preferred a move to Liverpool despite the interest on Arsenal and United.
But despite the prospect of losing one of the bedrocks of Sam Allardyce's side for nothing, the Hammers are refusing to budge.
Indeed, reports suggest that West Ham believe their current offer is extremely competitive and will not be tempted into revising the terms.
Furthermore, the east London club insist they won't be tempted to sell Reid on the cheap in January and only contemplating a sale if they receive an offer too good to refuse.
It now remains to be seen whether Reid is willing to put pen to paper on fresh terms at Upton Park or whether he wants to try his luck with a bigger side at the end of the season.
