Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham are ready to make a move for Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, with Schalke ready to let the striker leave for just £3million in January.
The Holland international is out of contract at the end of the season and, despite Schalke's desire to keep him, seems unlikely to pen a new deal with the Germans.
Huntelaar was the subject of a failed bid from Arsenal during the summer transfer window, but the 31-year-old is now ready for a stint in the Premier League after spells in Spain and Italy with Real Madrid and AC Milan respectively.
However, Arsene Wenger is not the only manager chasing his signature, with both Brendan Rodgers and Mauricio Pochettino also desperate to land the hitman.
Turkish outfit Galatasaray have also been tipped to make a move for Huntelaar in the upcoming transfer window, but the forward has already expressed a desire to ply his trade in England.
Speaking last month he said: "It's a nice league and you never know what could happen.
"My mind is now on Schalke. I have a contract until the end of the season, maybe we're going to talk someday."
