Eriksen display leaves Liverpool hungry for a Danish

Liverpool have stepped up their pursuit of Ajax wonderkid Christian Eriksen after watching him star for Denmark against England.

Liverpool coach Sammy Lee was at the Parken Stadium on Wednesday to assess the teenage midfielder and has reported back to the Reds.

Arsenal are also tracking Eriksen, who only turns 19 on Monday, and Ajax have tried to protect their prized asset by offering him a new contract.
