Liverpool and Manchester United will battle it out for Tottenham wing wizard Gareth Bale in the summer transfer window.
Spurs have insisted that they are not a selling club, it it is believed that any bid that is made in excess of £30million for the Welsh winger will be considered by the club.
According to reports in the Daily Express, the news has sparked interest from clubs both home and abroad with European giants Inter Milan and Real Madrid also keen on acquiring Bale.
The 21-year-old Tottenham star has been in sensational form this season in both the Premiership and in Spurs debut season in the Champions League - with his performances against Inter, including at hat-trick at the San Siro making the whole of Europe stand up and take notice.
Bale who just recently signed a new four-and-a-half-year contract at White Hart Lane has made 31 appearances for the club this season and scored 11 goals in all competitions.
United boss sir Alex Ferguson is looking to re-build his squad in the summer with a number of the older players set to leave Old Trafford and he sees Bale as the perfect replacement for fellow Welshman Ryan Giggs.
Bale is also topping Liverpool's wish-list, with Kenny Dalglish and director of football Damien Comolli, who is credited with taking Bale to Spurs from Southampton, both keen to bringing the winger to Anfield in the summer.
Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has insisted his prize asset is not for sale, but in the summer when the big offers starting coming in, it could be a different story.
