Dalglish adds Barca winger to wish list

Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish has added B­arcelona winger Jeffren to his summer wish-list.

It will cost the Reds £8.7million to prise the former Spain under-21 star out of the Nou Camp.

That is the price ­the 23-year-old has on his head because of the buy-out clause inserted into his contract by the Spanish ­champions.

But Dalglish is happy to meet Barca's valuation after running a series of form checks on the Venezuela-born star. King ­Kenny, who is on the brink of signing a contract which will see him stay on as Kop manager for the next two years, has made the capture of a winger with skill, speed and crossing ability a priority.

Jeffren would jump at the chance to link up with the Anfield aces because he is fed up with being a fringe player at Barca.

He has made only 29 starts for the Catalan ­giants since making his debut five years ago.
