CSKA Moscow have revealed they will not stand in Keisuke Honda's way if a reasonable bid is made.
The Japan midfielder has been heavily linked to a host of top European clubs including Liverpool, Arsenal, AC Milan and Barcelona after starring in this summer's World Cup.
CSKA now appear resigned to losing their star player and are willing to let him go for the right price when the transfer window reopens.
"We do not wish to keep players against their will if they want to move on," a spokesperson for the Russian club was quoted as saying on Sankei Sports.
"We respect our players' decisions.
"We are prepared to listen to any offers provided that the price is reasonable."
Honda joined CSKA from Dutch outfit VVV Venlo in January on a four-year deal, and has blossomed into one of Europe's most coveted players.
Liverpool are believed to be in pole position to secure the services of the 24 year-old, with the club reportedly already in the process of tabling an offer.
