Sam Wallace in the Independent believes that Tottenham striker Peter Crouch could be set for a shock return to Liverpool.
New manager Roy Hodgson has been looking at potential strikers to improve Liverpool's squad and it has been suggested that Crouch could be interesting Roy as a possible signing.
The paper states that Hodgson attempted to buy Crouch for Fulham last summer and is a keen admirer of the 29 year old England international.
Crouch scored 13 goals in 42 appearances in all competitions last season after being bought from Portsmouth for £10million.
